..... I have mountains of laundry, no tumble drier, very little space for indoor airers, no nearby launderette, and I had been enjoying being spoilt by being able to dry our clothes on the rotary drier in the garden (and they smell so lovely)?

Not to mention the fact that my 2yr old looks set to tunnel Alcatraz-style out of the lounge if she is kept in for one more day!

I know I am probably BU, but wanted to get the grrrr off my chest before the laundry evelopes me and my screams are drowned out by a million tea towels, tiny tights, pillow cases and whatnot.

Just thought I'd reply as you've had no answers....I know exactly how you're feeling...

yanbu although I do have a tumble dryer I really resent using it as it costs a bloody fortune to run

yabu, as I live in a 14th floor flat and don't have anywhere to hang out my washing, so it's always stuck in either my room or dd's on a folding up clothes horse thing, that barely needs to be touched to collapse!

(I maybe slightly jealous of you being able to hang out your washing though ...)
