I seem to have been doing a lot of life and death subjects.

Story heard today.I wont give you the region.

A parent had a 4 year old girl; he also kept dogs.

Little girls went to school. Daddy was at home.....The school rang and said
can you come to the school your daughter has dog poo on her shoe....He said not just now, my partner is on a 12 hr shift and my son is at a job interview.......calls went too and fro, then allegedly the Head said to Dad, you are a bad parent, I am putting this on report...

I can see why he wouldn't want to go to the school (but don't understand the reasoning he gave as to why he couldn't go) and also why they shouldn't have to clean it off.

The 4 YO's a bit young to be doing it herself.

Who do you think should have cleaned it off?

Always makes me think of barbara cleaning shit off a shoe with a knife in a sink full of dishes in the royle family

My eldest's school has a box full of mis-matched pairs that a child can wear in the event of pooshoe syndrome.

There's no telling where the poo came from and it is unreasonable to expect a parent to come to school to clean poo off a shoe, but its also not in the remit of the school to scrape shit off pooey shoes either.

I used to live near the sea/beach and we actually had a 'pooknife' in the garage JUST for the instances of pooshoe (which were numerous back in the 80's but mostly the poo was white), so much easier to go barefoot, enjoy the feeling of poo between the toes (its actually pleasant until you realise) and rinse them in the sea.

Ooops the mis-matched pairs would be of shoes of course, rather than people who just don't get along.
