the reason is, if i got no access to money i can't buy any more cigarettes so will have to give up.

this is the last resort, i really want to give up

Do you think it will work? I hope it gets you through the tough first few days.

AuntiePickleBottom · 08/05/2011 21:54

There are better ways to quit!

AmIAPayne · 08/05/2011 21:56

But won't you need access to your account to pay for stuff?

Well if you can give up cigarettes and during the run up to your wedding (congrats BTW) you can do it.

Remind yourself that if you give in you will have to go through the withdrawal again rather than just once!

FlamingFannyDrawers · 08/05/2011 21:59

It seems extreme. I couldn't have given up days before my wedding, my Lambert and Butlers were my best friend. Good luck though.

AuntiePickleBottom · 08/05/2011 22:01

i have tried every thing, but it is so easy to buy them when times get stressful as i live 2 minutes away to the local shop

Hello Flaming! Grin

Seeing you as the last poster confused me for a second. No doubt you might feel the same soon so back to one of my other names I will go as this is just a spare.

OP have you read the thread about the electronic cigs or do you want to quit cold turkey?

onceamai · 08/05/2011 22:03

Good luck - you can do it but wait until after the wedding -oth the there's a monumental picture of me in white frock with a glass of champagne in one hand and fag poised in the other [embarrassed] Haven't had one for 17 years and only fancy one very occasionally nowadays (about two/three times a year).

kaid100 · 08/05/2011 22:13

Errm how well do you know your dp? Please don't do this if you've only been together a month or two.

AuntiePickleBottom · 08/05/2011 22:16

kaid i would trust him with my life, and we are aabout to get married after being in a relationship with him for 7 years and 2 children later
