I'm not precious about my MN name - I know I haven't got the monopoly on all Constantly names and indeed there may have been lots of Constantly's (should that be Constantlies??) over the years. However, a friend from RL who is also on Mumsnet commented on something ConstantlyWrong said thinking I had name changed. So just in case anyone is bothered - I am not COnstantlyWrong (which is not to say I am always right.
My first aibu so please be gentle.

Oooh yum!

Mmmm, scrummy - have you tried making it with coconut and lime instead of lemon?

ConstantlyCooking · 08/05/2011 17:20

that sounds interesting as I have poppy seeds in mine.
Do you have a good recipe for cocount cake - I remember a light coconut sponge topped with coconut butter cream from my youth.

NTF - maybe we should ask MN for a cake smiley!

Haven't got a recipe that's been handed on/down, but you'll find loads if you google coconut sponge cake recipes.

This one sounds especially good - I like the idea of using cream cheese. See the reviewers tip if you haven't got coconut essence (I know I haven't).

I'm still lamenting the withdrawal of the 'royal' smileys.

Definitely need a cake smiley, and a chocolate one too. And maybe a bunch of flowers and a raspberry while they're at it?

Sounds good - the vanilla would work well too I think. [goes to cupboard to see if there is any dessicated coconut - returns from cupboard remembering need to fit into summer clothes! Maybe next week....] Grin
