went to ikea today to buy a high chair for DS, one of those £11 jobbies made of plastic which will be soo much easier to clean than his M&P padded chair where all the good keeps going underneath.

Anyway i'm going off the point... got DS a lovely set of stacking cups for about £1.50 and then a set of soft farm animals which were abit more on the expensive side at £8 but he loves them, keeps saying 'moooooooo' to the cow, and it even has udders. I saw £8 is on the expensive side but then when you look at what we pay for plastic singing things its not too bad!!

Yes. I agree. I love the Ikea toys... Melissa and Doug is my first choice though but Ikea is second.

We bought a little white mouse for dd which she called squeaky mouse. Went back not long after and came back with a grey one called squeaky too ! They have huge long labels and she is a bit of a label freak !

The Ikea cups have been the best thing I've bought DD. She's always playing with them.

I bought DS loads of their wooden toys, at about £8-12 each they are a bit pricey but wooden toys are so much nicer and he really loves them all.

Incidentally they have fleeces for £1.01 and they make fab cotbed covers now the weather is warmer, they wash really well, come out practically dry and in the winter will make cozy bed sheets.
