I mean are some of us hooked on political winners in the way that others rave about football and ballroom dancing?

I like footie and politics. Dancing? I wear tight trousers and have not got the ballroom....I digress.

I did watch the political results on TV into the night. It was a mish-mash.Some dont count the votes until this morning.

My city went back to Labour control; and what happened at Sheffield,Hull and Manchester plus Liverpool and Hull was a predictable big swing to Labour

Is that you Gabby?

I've never met anyone who raves about ballroom dancing, but then I move in uncouth circles.

We're still No Overall Control (largely Green/Labour) which I'm actually quite happy about. And I leafleted extensively for the local Labour councillor, who promptly lost - but I think that was more to do with the fact he looked like a cult leader than the quality of my leaflet distribution.

Does it all matter.? Incidentally there is expected to be a big vote against changing our voting system Does that grieve you or are you pleased.? AV never caught on with the bulk of the public.
