Forgive me mumsnet for I have sinned and I know crocs are bloody hideous but they have a hold on me and my beach loving family. Can anybody find me a pair of ruby red mary jane crocs for around £10 ?

Has there been a croc backlash ? I'm desperate for a pair for dd for her hols, she has the cheap ones at the mo but I don't find them as good, they're very wide for her narrow feet.

They're comfy and practical. We live very near the sea and spend a lot of time they're, AND I can stick em in the washing machine with confidence.

They're fugly, but ave saved me and dd from blisters, for that I am grateful

I must confess I too have a pair of crocs (in lovely pale blue)

and I still wear them (not so much out of the house since the mn S and B drubbing but still they have their place).

you can get crocs in "sports soccer" for about £15 well i did a wee while ago, however the sketcher ones are good for narrow feet and also pretty cheap and just as comfy, i have both i care not.

a friend of mine recoiled in horror when i was wearing my bright red crocs at a BBQ as i had been working loads on my feet for 12hrs a day, and all other shoes were not comfy. she generally wears stupid shoes rediculasly high shoes and i didnt realise she was so short till a few months ago.

Love crocs and I make no apologies. Don't wear them socially, but for work, anything else makes my legs feel like they are about to fall off...

Got my ballet pump style ones from a cheap sports shop for a fiver - think it was in Trafford centre when I was up in Manc - wore them til I wore a hole in the bottom...
