This one. I am not a major royalist but saw Kate middleton wearing it and thought it looked really good, I don't want everyone thinking I'm copying her but I love the dress!!!

I would ask DH but he's not about this week so thought I'd take my chances on mumsnet!

YANBU, it's lovely.

I was half expecting cgi.ebay.co.uk/Custom-Hot-Similar-Princess-Kate-Royal-Wedding-Dress-/150598913528?pt=UK_Wedding_Clothing&hash=item2310650df8 this to be what you were asking about!

Flisspaps · 05/05/2011 19:24

Don't know what happened to my link thee!

PicaK · 05/05/2011 19:25

I thought the skirt rode up a bit at the back....

If you are size ten or under, go for it, otherwise i'd worry that comparisons might not be that flattering!

bittersweetvictory · 05/05/2011 19:26

If youve got the figure for it then yes, its a nice summer dress.

SocialButterfly · 05/05/2011 19:27

Its lovely but no way would I pay £130 for it, it was only £60 in Zara, they have massively bumped up the price because Kate wore it.

thelittlefriend · 05/05/2011 19:28

it is a lovely dress. My first thought was that there might be others attending the wedding with the same idea though?

MrsPresley · 05/05/2011 19:29

Nice dress but I noticed in one of the newspaper photographs that it was shorter at the back than at the front.

Not sure if this is a fault or because she was wearing a belt and hadnt pulled the dress down properly at the back

celticlassie · 05/05/2011 19:31

I hope you didn't pay £130 for it. Opportunist bastard. (The seller, obv, not you.) Grin

worraliberty · 05/05/2011 19:32

It's a nice colour and 'ok' but that's all I can say about it. Kate has a fantastic figure and yet it doesn't really flatter it that much.

pollypopsocks · 05/05/2011 19:34

Yes I thought a few people might have the same idea and wear it too.... I guess I could always hang on to it and sell it for a million pounds in 30 years time!!!

It's lovely but IIRC was only £50 from Zara? Although I doubt you could pick one up now!

Not worth £130 IMO, if you're going to spend that much, go to Karen Millen and get something amazing.

izzywhizzyletsgetbusy · 05/05/2011 20:44

Depends on whether you have more money than sense, and won't mind if you're sniggered at outed for copying Mrs Wales.

I'd rather not wear something worn by a sleb because of the inevitable comparisons especially those made behind my back which may not be flattering.

There are so many wonderful summer dresses available at the moment, and I suggest you choose a garment that owes nothing to anyone else.

diddl · 05/05/2011 21:26

I think that the material looks cheap & the belt is horrible tbh.

c0rn51lk · 05/05/2011 21:29

it's ££££ for what it is
