AIBU?
to be getting increasingly annoyed at some AIBU threads? It

It just seems that (more and more frequently), a hell of a lot of AIBU threads no longer discuss what the OP actually asked.
So many people jump on one word that was used then rip the poster to shreds over it.
Or it turns into an argument about something that's off on a tangent.
And the amount of times that someone explains something very very clearly, but some people still misconstrue what's been said is baffling.

I namechanged yesterday to ask a question about something which was worrying me and people answered a question I didn't ask. I repeated the question, same thing. I blame the education system.
Shan't detail it on here as it's rude to talk about it on another thread but it was a bit like this...
Q. Does anybody know if the zoo in Bognor is open on Fridays?
A. You're not allowed to keep lions in zoos anymore, it's banned under the Lion Act 2011.

Haha, lovely. You've all come up trumps :)
Fwiw, gooseberry, I've been here a while, BUT I find that there's a big difference between entertaining arseyness and people deliberately ignoring a point or an explanation, and yet STILL going on and on about something that no-one has actually said.
Maryz, don't even get me started on some of the spelling on here. I nearly started a thread on that once but shat myself thought better of it :)
