just because they were reduced to 30p for the pack in Tesco today due to the expiry date being tomorrow?

It's just me i'm feeding. DH's mum cooks his dinner on a tuesday as he's in the office at his parents house pricing tonight.

Yum. A woman after my own heart. If you eat it with spicy tomato salsa - there are vegetables. Actually, there are veggies in the samosas and onions are veggies.

I want some now!

ChrissyHynde · 03/05/2011 19:56

Couldn't manage all the beans but the rest is fine!!

SecretNutellaFix · 03/05/2011 19:58

I'd happily eat that.

Have the bhajis and samosas first with some chutney and then if hungry later the beans on toast.

Paschaelina · 03/05/2011 19:58

I have salsa! Chilli dipping sauce too Grin

Drooling now - in oven, ready in about 5 minutes...

Seriously? Sounds too much for one person. Keep them until tomorow and you have the basics for a meal for 2/3 (add a veg curry and rice, yum).

Paschaelina · 03/05/2011 19:59

Oh yes, will leave the beans for later i agree.

TheSkiingGardener · 03/05/2011 19:59

I think as long as you are alone for the consequences you will be fine!

said · 03/05/2011 19:59

I skip the beans and just have lime pickle and mango chutney with it.

nikki1978 · 03/05/2011 20:00

Sounds like a weird but good meal. Although agreed too much in one sitting but I think the combination of beans and samosas is a good one!

Curiousmama · 03/05/2011 20:00

No but bet your tum is grumbling later Grin

Paschaelina · 03/05/2011 20:00

Yeah, I could do that, olderandwider, and if I hadn't already persuaded myself to buy them I might have, but its too late now. Grin

And yes, I will easily eat all of that.

Wasn't there a trapped wind thread on here somewhere? This would have been a good solution!

Sounds lovely. I want some! (food, not wind)

TheMonster · 03/05/2011 20:02

Sounds bloody good to me!

worraliberty · 03/05/2011 20:03

That does sound too much for one person.

Works out about 1,200 calories or thereabouts though.

BsshBossh · 03/05/2011 20:03

Yum yum! (Though I'd skip the tin of beans).

worraliberty · 03/05/2011 20:04

Sorry, I meant to say so only you know if YABU

Selks · 03/05/2011 20:04

Oooh I could just go an onion bhaji. (Banned.....on a diet....boo hoo)

Recharging · 03/05/2011 20:08

Hmmphh.

Calories Schmalories - its no worse than an occasional big mac.

[raspberry emoticon]

hehehehe

worraliberty · 03/05/2011 20:10

Oh I agree Recharging Grin

I just mean that only the OP can know if she's being unreasonable...no-one else knows if she's on a diet or what she's already eaten today lol

spatchcock · 03/05/2011 20:12

YANBU. I am having sweetcorn and a piece of cheesecake.

Paschaelina · 03/05/2011 20:20

No diet, breastfeeding. Today's menu has consisted of sultana bran for breakfast, peanut butter on toast for lunch and a chocolate mousse.

Spatchcock that sounds lovely Smile On the same plate?

OP posts:
kisschase · 03/05/2011 20:23

YANBU - sometimes I have a bag of Kettle crisps and a tub of houmous for dinner yum!!!

thelittlefriend · 03/05/2011 20:57

for lunch I had about 3 leftover cold new potatoes that had been in the fridge two days with some grated cheese and mayo on top. and some manky broccoli and hummus on the side. raw broccoli. :(

YANBU

Paschaelina · 03/05/2011 21:03

Why manky and raw broccoli thelittlefriend? Could you not have thrown away the manky stuff and cooked the raw with the cheese melted on top?

It was all lovely BTW, I ate every last bhaji with the sweet chilli dipping sauce and I don't regret a single mouthful. Grin
