That's what I said! Am "told" a right, Royal, snub. The two finger variety. Strong family links, loyalty and making a point.

A woman who wears the same outfit to two big public occasions is someone with confidence in my opinion, someone who isn't swayed by peer pressure so to speak!

And she should get her teeth whitened.

Margrethe also looks like she'd be a lot of fun to be around and, although appearances can be deceptive, it may not be surprising if she doesn't get on with the UK's senior Royals.

My response would be the same - assorted male monarchs and lesser royals wear the same suits/military dress to attend multiple events and no one suggests they're being disrespectful.

And what is this obsession with teeth whitening? Maybe Margrethe enjoys a (shock, horror) a ciggy or 10 with her pint of Carlsberg - and why shouldn't she?

Princess Anne wore the same outfit twice - I think there was a difference of 27 years between outings.

Margrethe's fairly cool as monarchs go - she was on the translation team for the Lord of the Rings books, and did the illustrations, and designs costumes for the tivoli theatre. I think it's great that she wore the same outfit twice - takes the pressure off the rest of us for sure!

I think it should be obligatory for them to re-wear dresses. Wouldn't that be a great example to set? Isn't it absolutely ludicrous that wearing a dress more than once would subject someone to ridicule?

Dronning Margrethe is wonderful and it isnt the first time she has used the same outfit I think it is fantastic.. yes she is COOL.. and she has done many things like redexpat comments.. amongst others she has hand embroidered more than one of the Robes some of the priests in Denmark's churches wear (and she is blinking amazing at it I wish I could embroider half as well)

Grew up in Denmark my oldest dd is called Margrethe for her middle name both for my paternal grandmothers middle name my MIL's middlename (Margueritte) and a nod towards the danish queen.

Off all the royals she is my favourite.. has been since I was a little girl still is now.

I think she's great, and obviously a highly intelligent woman too. Good for her!
