After all, it isn't as if Pippa said "No Kate, I'm not telling you what I'm going to wear - it's a surprise!" and then walked away sniggering....

To the best of my knowledge, the bride chooses the bridesmaid dresses. OK, the bridesmaids often have a say, but the likes of that awful Liz Jones making snide remarks about Pippa "breaking rules by wearing white" just make themselves sound stupid and bitchy.

Oh well looks like what we have here is some kind of Diana-like body persecution by proxy. Made the mistake of picking on the main event (Princess Di) 30 years ago, won't do that now so have a go at next best thing i.e. the bride's sister.
As for the Prince Harry/ J.k. Rowling joke, what a pathetic sniggering excuse for fucking humour that is.

I think its interestimg how some people react when others disagree. I have no problem that others thought the dress looked great. I disagree but am not going to be funny about it. Just my opinion.

There are lots of comments on the web about how she has a nice 'shapely' arse though which is pretty much the same thing. Pees me off - there is only skin and bones on her, but that shape of dress accentuates every (tiny) curve.

My arse has its own postcode and I would be terrified to see quite how massive it would look in that style of dress.

I thought the dress was stunning and she looked lovely, but the thing that made her really attractive was the caring smiley way she attended to her sister and then looked after the little ones IMO

Erm, no it isn't, not in the least. She is a woman, not a man. She has an hourglass figure where they go in at the waist and out again at the hips. That is how women are supposed to look.

Having seen quite a bit of footage I dont think she was trying to upstage her sister any more tho, but there was one shot where she looked thoroughly over-excited at all the attention and very orange.
So I amend my remarks to: "I dont think that Pippa woman is the shy retiring sort"
