I think a lot of arch royalists, which I am not, would agree?

eh?

HalfPastWine · 30/04/2011 11:42

It's a Bank Holiday weekend, the papers and tv are going to keep reporting it until the majority of the nation get back to work on Tuesday and there's some business news to report or another naff comment from David Cameron.

The press are like dogs with a bone, they won't let go of it just yet. They'll milk it as much as they can.

compo · 30/04/2011 11:50

Don't read them then or turn tv on

Northernlurker · 30/04/2011 11:52

Yesterday the TV had their shot - now toiday it's the paper's turn to make money out of the wedding. Just don't buy them.

ScousyFogarty · 30/04/2011 12:20

Points taken. From the News the press are now chasing honeymoon locations. And it is said Wills wants peace and will take out injunctions against photographers. It may work in Britain; but it wont work with
the foreign paps I wonder what pravda are making of it?

I agree - i watched "the day" but "Wonder where they are going on honeymoon" is NOT news, let alone headline news

Southcoastsarah · 30/04/2011 17:23

i have an off button on the tv, or stuff on sky+

im too easily pleased i think :)

I bought the Guardian. On the front cover it had "Free Royal Section - plus six other bits with No Royal Stuff" or words to that effect. So free royal bit can go straight in the recycling......

emptyshell · 30/04/2011 18:38

I've avoided it so far... concluded the world had officially lost the plot when I saw Asda had done a commemorative Wills and Kate giftcard... yep, buy yer sprouts to toast the happy couple.
