First it was Vernon Kay, now Orlando Bloom. Yes Orlando, you lucked out, your wife is hot, and it's great that your are proud of her for bearing your son, and proud of her for breastfeeding, but being so proud that she snapped back into shape? FFS!

Fortunately my DH is more proud of how I am coping with a 7 month old who still wakes up to 3 times a night, as well as a 3 year old, to care that I am still 1.5 stone over my pre-pg rate.

For some reason, I don't mind Miranda Kerr.

Which is funny, because Giselle who did all of this bollocks last year, absolutely does my box in.

I do sometimes wonder (and this is in no way directed at you OP - I have a 2.9 year old and 10 month old who wakes 3 time a night and am also 1.5 stone over my pre pg weight!) if there's something a bit irksome when celebs not only ping back into shape and look great, but also do all earth mothery stuff - natural birth and breastfeeding too. In an, is there anything they can't make look effortless? kind of a way.

I don't know..

yes but that is the daily hate mail reporting on both these men. Im sure it's all taken out of context and not reported accurately- they are just saying how beautiful their wives are!

I know, I only ever go on the Daily Mail site from here but get caught up in the side bars!

It is a probably a little bit of jealousy, she is hot, plus must be nice to have the sort of job and money where you can take your baby along. It does look effortless but money can buy you an awful lot of help. My sleepless nights wouldn't be so bad if I didn't also have housework to do, no-one to babysit, and a tight food budget.

It's just bad enough when the women themselves go on about losing baby weight, or the media, but when the husbands get in on the act, I'm not sure why, it's just pissing me off. Just seems really trite in the grand scheme of things, she carried and bore a baby, and is now nursing and nurturing it, but great that's she's thin again!

yes, you're right. It's the heat magazine pressure for us all to be perfect and mock those who aren't.
iwant is right when she says the DM is so nasty about constantly highlighting this kind of thing
