Yes a lovely 'Proper Princess' dress (as if she has flicked to last page of ladybird book and said 'i want that') - for me a 10

Princess beatrice looks as if she has got horns ffs (agree with chanelling Isabella Blow as they have the same horsey mouth thing going on...)

Pippa - hmmm it's a little slinky/clingy/upstagy no?

Prince William's uniform is surprisingly ill fitted actually and the trousers could be a little tighter?

Not at all sure about the bridesmaids but the pageboy uniforms are a massive winner

10/10 for the dress :)

8/10 as shes so sweet

anyone else would get 7/10

DontGoCurly · 29/04/2011 11:48

Can only see the top bit!!! Very demure and classy!

Reminds me a little of Grace Kelly's !

I LOVE her bouquet !!! So pretty!

(Can't believe there are trees in the church!!)

7 out of 10 = bride
6 out of 10 = bridesmaid

3 out of 10 = flower girls

KM looks beautiful, but don't like bottom part of dress

LadyKaraStarbuckofThrace · 29/04/2011 11:51

I like the wedding dress, very elegant and graceful, think Kate looks beautiful. Little bridesmaids are adorable!

WTF is Posh wearing, those shoes and that hat are seriously fugly. Dress is okay but very matronly, I know she is pregnant but she could have made a bit more of an effort!

I really liked Princess Anne's outfit, very nice. And the Queen looked very Spring like in yellow. I do lurrve her Maj [cgrin]

misshospitalcorners · 29/04/2011 11:52

Dress - 8/10 - the dress is quite classic and it suits her well (I think it is a teensy too long at the front)

Hair - 4/10 - she would have looked picture-perfect if she had swept her hair back, it would have accentuated the lace neckline and her slim figure.

Oh and I think Sarah Chatto and Charlene Wittstock look stunning Smile
And the York sisters have their Mothers sense of style Hmm

sayanything · 29/04/2011 11:53

10/10 for KM's dress

0/10 for Pippa's dress, it's gorgeous, but am I the only one who is Shock at her wearing white (or cream, whatever)?

worraliberty · 29/04/2011 11:55

10/10 for all of them, they look beautiful Grin

Except the Queen who looks like she's got a block of cheese on her head Shock

They didn't spend much on the boquet did they? Blush

adamschic · 29/04/2011 11:55

Simple and elegant but wanted to see something more glamorous 5/10. Hair would have been better dressed/up.

Loved her sisters bridesmaid dress though.

Morloth · 29/04/2011 11:55

I would so do Harry.

Kizzylou71 · 29/04/2011 11:56

10/10 for Kate, beautiful and elegant, her veil is reminiscint of mine....

Icelollycraving · 29/04/2011 11:56

I really like Pippa's dress. Kate will have chosen it. It may be a touch upstagey but the bride chose it so,thems the breaks lol.
She needed the tan or it could have looked horrific.

Caoimhe · 29/04/2011 11:59

Like Pippa's dress. Agree that the tiny girls look like they are wearing a version of the ones worn by Diana's bridesmaids but without the lace - they do look very old-fashioned. The bouquet is teeny, though!

diddl · 29/04/2011 11:59

"I really liked Princess Anne's outfit, very nice. And the Queen looked very Spring like in yellow. "

I agree-I think that PA is like QE in that respect-dresses approprately, but doesn´t overdo it.

DontGoCurly · 29/04/2011 12:00

@ sayanything Yeh, I HATE to see people wearing cream/white to a wedding. Height of bad manners!

Bridesmaids gorgeous but dangerously more sexy than bride! oops!

GloriaSmut · 29/04/2011 12:00

Dress is lovely, if slightly long at the front. At least it looks as if she chose it herself, unlike the wrapped meringue that the Sainted Diana turned out in and looked uncomfortable throughout. I've just seen the epic fail that is the outfits of the Fergie Daughters. Did nobody tell them that it wasn't a competition to dress like a toilet roll cover?

whackamole · 29/04/2011 12:02

Ha ha Worra thought the same about the flowers!

I really like Kate's dress but would've thought a more classic updo would have gone better as the dress has a very 50s vibe to it.

Although could be just me though, as I was planning something similar but tea length for myself!

And seriously, what is with these odd forehead-hats? A la Posh and Eugenie/Beatrice and Tara Palmer Tompkinson? Vile!

albania · 29/04/2011 12:03

They're her bridesmaids, surely it was Kate who chose the colours and dresses? Hardly bad manners if she's chosen it for them.
I think Beatrice would have looked fab without the hat.

saadia · 29/04/2011 12:03

don't like the dress much - looks a bit ordinary and her eye make-up is too heavy

whackamole · 29/04/2011 12:05

She does love the black eyeliner doesn't she? Not a fan myself, bit harsh.

fatlazymummy · 29/04/2011 12:06

Brides dress -7/10. Personally I would prefer something more simple and plainer, although that probably wouldn't be possible for a royal wedding dress. I loved the sleeves and neckline.
Adult bridesmaid [sister?] 10/10.
Kids bridesmaids. Whatever.

cantspel · 29/04/2011 12:07

they look lovely and maybe PM dress is designed to make harry take a bit of notice. And it is working as he has a soppy grin on his face as he leads her out of the abbey

lubeybooby · 29/04/2011 12:08

Gorgeous, absolutely stunning. 500 out of ten, couldn't be more perfect.
