Yesterday I was in the car, listening to the radio, and I missed what was being said due to squealing child and thought 'oh I'll just rewind it'

Looked out of my living room window to see what I thought was a friend passing by and thought 'ooh I'll just rewind it and see'

You CANNOT rewind reality!!

Just get CCTV outside your door! Then you can rewind reality.

Eek! That would make me as mental as my parent's neighbour who has 'CCTV here' signs all over the place...as if anyone would want to nick your ceramic owl you mentaller!!

How funny....I tried the very same thing in the car yesterday!!! I didn't quite hear what the newsreader said so I reached out to rewind it and realised I was listening to the bloody radio !!!!:)

I know exactly what you mean. In real life, if I do or say something stupid, I mentally search for the 'undo' button.

YANBU I have had similar experiences

I don't have sky+ (or indeed any tv at all other than DVDs/iplayer)

But I went through the same thing after reading The Time Travellers Wife! Suddenly I thought all my problems could be solved by jumping around my own timeline

I was writing with a pen and paper yesterday and I wasn't sure how to spell a word, I had a go at it then thought 'must be right, it's not been underlined' before I mentally kicked myself for being so daft.

I do that all the time! I dont know how I coped before sky+

Until recently, I had Sky+ I am temporarily living with my archaic granddad, who just has regular Sky.

Imagine my great distress that I can't have a relaxing wee, without having to hot-foot it back to Corrie a documentary on BBC4, lest I miss summat.
