I have taken a life long interest in daily newspapers...
I gather readerships are falling in newspaper sales.
Most papers have some stuff on the Internet. (Some papers charge for this. I gather The Times does.)
People I talk to mostly say we have stopped buying a daily paper. News is available on radio and TV
I like to read good columnists in most dayly papers. Paris in The Times.
Reade in the Mirror...Polly in the Gruniad and even a couple of columnists in the Daily Torygraph Julie Burchill in the Indy is in a class of her own.
Mumsnetters? I should imagine most get their news from the Internet.
But there seems to be a Daily Mail faction; some Torygraph readers.
Have not seen the Daily Sport mentioned here (Is it still being sold?)
Evening papers are another matter. They seem to be losing sales. The London standard is said to have gone FREE. (which is odd.) But most places of any size have an evening paper. (which is now on sale in the morning)
there you go, morning evening. We soon wont be able to tell dawn from dusk
