I feel all nostalgic thinking about Texan bars and parma violets, we also ate candied cigarettes complete with red tips and after a few pretend puffs they were munched down with much enjoyment. I was born in the late 60's Anyone else have any candy nostalgia?

OK......

I loved spangles, candy cigarettes with the red tips, the 'chewing tobacco' that came in a red packet and was coconut flavour I think? I loved parma violets, sherbet pips, cherry lips, chewing nuts, cola cubes and pineapple cubes.

I also was banned from sweet eating as my mother decided that eating sweets was causing my excema (never can spell it) and I have a problem with eating sweets and chocolate in secret to this day. Thing is it wasn't diagnosed at all, she just decided.

I also loved pacers!

Cherry lips - the tiny ones that tasted like flowers ...
Wham bars
Chocolate limes (they still do these now but they just don't taste the same! )

arrow bars
jusoda in a triangle shaped carton and frozen
