Oh the news item itself - they were saying vile things that, had they been yelled at someone down the pub, would have had the person arrested under various hate crime legislation, discrimination legislation. Did it not say that they were being racist? Is that not a crime now? Racial abuse? I think you'll find it is. race relations act, racial and religious hatred act, equality act...
