its todays news....we had better generalise and tread carefully ...sub judice may be involved. writing generaLLY there is some very rough stuff on some message sites. a lot to be said for self control. Within the rules

WhereYouLeftIt · 24/04/2011 15:27

Yup, looks like timmyshine is indeed Gabby.

timmyshine · 24/04/2011 15:28

ihatecbeebies · 24/04/2011 15:28

Just popping back in to see if the poster is making any more sense.......but nope still not, perhaps Gabby drank a bit too much whilst watching the Old Firm?

FuppyGish · 24/04/2011 15:30

Timmy and op are the same I assume? Same crap typing and spelling.

squeakytoy · 24/04/2011 15:30

EasterIgg, you are spot on with that I think Grin judging by Timmys other posts...

giyadas · 24/04/2011 15:31

mamaz0n · 24/04/2011 15:32

timmyshine · 24/04/2011 15:32

GIVADAS When people have been chargedit is illegal to comment on that story...Its called sub judice law Dont fret we are safe. But cases do invlve alleged message board stateementMys. such cases are rare. You either take an interest in law or you dont. Most people dont..Got any lawyers posting here?

SiriuslyBlack · 24/04/2011 15:33

My first thread back after 40 days. Gabby's typos are just another reason to either not drink in the day, have short nails and have a phone that uses buttons.

giyadas · 24/04/2011 15:35

ok timmy, I'll try not to fret.

Bogeyface · 24/04/2011 15:37

I didnt say I was a journo, I said keeping up with the news was part of my old job.

Hows the wine Gabby?! Going down well?

TethersEnd · 24/04/2011 15:38

Gabby, is your DW ok? after your hospital thread, I was concerned...

Shodan · 24/04/2011 15:40

Loving Gabby's totally inept 'disguise' of timmyshine.

Kinda the online equivalent of a large fake moustache and dark glasses.

ihatecbeebies · 24/04/2011 15:43

'the online equivalent of a large fake moustache and dark glasses'

:o haha hilarious

timmyshine · 24/04/2011 15:44

shirleyBlack are you here under your own name. DONT FRET ABOUT TYPOS THEY MATTER LITTLE HERE. i..ts not a grammar snob exam...We want real feelings expressed by people who have such. There is a degree of ganging up bullying here. Booze is not my bag. Is it your guidingl ...ome drinkers say booze makes them happy. I think its escapism. But thats another story which rhymes with Tory; and there are a lot of them here. Dave Camerooney does not ring my chimes I still think my headline told the whole story. and the nasties tried to kill the threAD confess YOU BOUNDERS

FannyFifer · 24/04/2011 15:49

But why is this in AIBU???

GabbyLoggon · 24/04/2011 15:50

THEY NEVER OWN UP. tHEY HAVE NO MORAL COMPASS YOU ARE ASKING FOR THE MOON

OP posts:
WhereYouLeftIt · 24/04/2011 15:59

Ooh look, he's outed himself!

timmyshine Sun 24-Apr-11 15:44:33 ... I still think my headline told the whole story. ...

But it's GabbyLoggon's headline, surely?

Gabby/Timmy, please just accept that your posts are often so vague as to be near-undecipherable. Railing at other posters for being unable to read your mind serves no purpose.

GandTiceandaslice · 24/04/2011 16:52

What a fabulous thread. I SHALL USE CAPITAL letter randomly.

nijinsky · 24/04/2011 16:55

Oh its just the usual carry on with football clubs and their supporters in Glasgow. Has been simmering for a while now, its always on the news and tbh, I wish the whole lot of them would either piss off or concentrate on actually winning something in their sport.

None of this is really a Scottish thing either, not historically.

To make matters worse, driving down the motorway today through Fife, I nearly got hit from behind while overtaking by some Celtic football strip wearing maniac driving around 120mph.

Really reluctant to contribute to this thread, as it somehow legitimises GL's rantings irrational concerns, but just in case any of the more sensible Mumsnetters were concerned: the arrests that were made were to do with people who had been posting particullrly nasty sectarian hatred on-line - and have been charged with sectarian breach of the peace.

Discussing the topic of sectarianism and its roots is not "sub-judice".

There is no need to fearmonger: there is already a very sensible disucssion going on in "In the news" - the appropriate topic area for such disucssions. On that thread, no-one has posted any religious hate or incitement to violence and has nothing to be concerned about.

And if anyone did - there is always the "report" button.

Pagwatch · 24/04/2011 17:30

Where can I buy a tin hat?

I feel they would suit me. I have a certain flair.,
