AIBU?

to think Adele shouldn't have turned up uninvited to her exboyfriend's house?

Now he's 'met a girl and settled down'.

If I was his new wife or girlfriend I'd lamp Adele one for turning up on the doorstep begging him not to forget her.

And as for the 'maybe I'll find someone like yyyyyyooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuu'.

And the high-pitched 'Don't forget me I beg'.

FFS Adele - move on.

YABU.

The song is co-written for a start and is probably not based 100% on fact.

There was a big thread about this not long ago...the concensus was that she was a bit stalkery! Grin I know what Id do if my DHs ex turned up here whining!

Love the song.

She's a singer. If you go in your back garden now and listen carefully you'll probably find at least one of your neighbours listening to her cd!

I had to come back inside yesterday because one of our neighbours was playing the same boring Adele song over and over and it was either come inside or murder him. I liked the one that I call 'Chasing Penguins' but the others I've heard are so, so dull.

I feel really Blush about this, but I can't work out a key lyric: 'sometimes it ........love, sometimes it hurts instead.' Fill in the missing words, please?

Sometimes it lasts in love, sometimes it hurts instead.

Do you take all song lyrics literally? Just because the song is in the first person, it doesn't mean that Adele did everything she's singing about, nor does it mean that she approves of everything she's singing about.
