Should be tracked down and punished

Some twunt decided to speed round a roundabout, lost control so his back end swung out and hit our car, and didnt make any attempt to stop

Why are there such idiots about, Angry as my 8, 4 and 6 wk old were in the car

Shock did you manage to get the registration number?

If so definitely report it to your local police as the twunt should definitely be punished

Sirzy · 20/04/2011 19:27

I hope they get him but unfortuantly doubt they will unless you somehow managed to get his reg plate?

Same happened to us coming off the motorway when I was 15, left me and my mum being taken to hospital on spinal boards and her with a life of back problems. The driver behind us tried to follow him to get his reg plate after seeing what happened but he went off to fast and was never caught.

Hope you are all ok.

southeastastra · 20/04/2011 19:27

always take number plates, you can do something if you have it

FabbyChic · 20/04/2011 19:28

As GreatBalls hope you got their registration number, thats a real pita.

Trust there was not too much damage, and hope the kids are okay.

K999 · 20/04/2011 19:29

You should report it to the police, even if just for insurance purposes. And iirc you should always report an accident. His failing to stop, and no doubt report, is an offence.

elmofan · 20/04/2011 19:31

Omg tiredmum are you all ok? Did you get a registration number?

Tiredmumno1 · 20/04/2011 19:35

Oh did forget to add i did get the number plate, although he probably thinks we didnt cos he was going so fast, i am good at remembering plates, thank god,

We have reported it, so hopefully will have some news tomorrow

And we are all fine, thank goodness, thanks for asking

I just cant believe people behave like that and it was an o7 plate, which is weirder, but the police want to talk to them about the car anyway
