Not to get my nails done, fake tan etc for this weekend

I'm off on a hen do this wknd and theres constant stauts updates on fbook about the other girls getting their nails done etc before we go. I'm not into all that, I tried a spray tan a couple of times and found it more hassle than its worth and wondered why people bother !
AIBU to just go as I am, pale and pasty with nails done in 2 mins by me??

I've never had spray tan and am crap at applying the artificial stuff. It doesn't suit my colouring anyway. Prefer to do my nails, although rarely do as I'm always washing my hands at work so nail varnish is impractical. Hate getting my hair cut and other people applying my make up too. Don't get the whole "pampering" industry.

You're pale and interesting. Don't do yourself down.

Have had spray tan and liked it but it takes AGES to 'set' or whatever the term is, and you basically have to not touch/ sit on anything for about 6 hours.

I couldn't be bothered with all that either.

I never have my nails done and HATE fake ones.

Hardly ever wear make up and have never had a fake tan.

YANBU about not wanting all that but yab a bit u in appearing to judge those that do.

I love having a spray tan - The lady comes to my friends house and we all get together have some wine and a chinwag while taking it in turns to go into the spare room to be sprayed. I also get a friend to do my hair as she is much better at it than me.

I'm not a bimbo, I just don't get to go out all that often and really enjoy the camaraderie of getting together with the girls to get ready. I certainly wouldn't judge someone who opted out - in fact a couple of the girls come to the tanning sessions not to tan but just for the wine and gossip. In return I wouldn't expect to be judged because I enjoy all that.

No, you must comform! Be orange with big thick long false nails. You'll feel and look so much better.

Am pretty much repulsed by fake tan and fake nails myself ... so, no, imvho, yabu.
