I have been reading and posting for a month or so and find the Relationships section particularly fascinating and often very sad. However, I now find that I am standing up to my strong-willed DH rather more than I used to (not that I have ever been a doormat IYSWIM). He is a lovely, kind man, but has a strong sense of his own importance!

BTW, I just threatened to kick him in the bollox, for being rude (it was a joke though).

I know what you mean. It's made me a bit more assertive too

Oh my christ

Some po-faced donkey will be along shortly to ask what we would all be saying if OP was a man and he had threatened to kick his wife in the fanjo.

I fear for you, OP. I really do.

I was just about to say you are almost ready for the next step...

Which is actually kicking him in the bollocks..Grin

TheOriginalFAB · 18/04/2011 16:47

As long as her dh knows it was a joke there is no problem.

jojowest · 18/04/2011 16:50

erm i think i would be putting my head in my hands if it took strangers on an internet forum to make me see the light about my relationship lol Grin

marmaladetwatkins · 18/04/2011 16:58

Oh well I know that and you know that but there will be some little cry-baby on here who will object.

I will pay you £50 if someone doesn't whine about it. PM me your Paypal details Wink

ROFL - well, he knew I was joking! Well, I think I was, maybe...

Maybe also MN is toughening me up for MN!
