not to want to be vomiting at BinL's wedding

getting really broody now for baby no 2 but BinL is getting married in the Autumn and really do not want to be vomiting (I really do not do 1st trimester well) and knackered at his wedding (we're all v close and this wedding has been a long time coming with intervening family tragedies and all sorts)

would it be too wierd to abandon contraception but if not pregnant by 3-4 months before the wedding to start using contraception again and try again after?

But all pregnancies are different - you might not have done the 1st trimester well the last time, but chances are its totally different 2nd time

No YANBU. When DH and I started TTC I always had a plan to stop for a few months if it meant I would be due, or in horrible stages of pregnancy at the time of my sister's wedding.

As it happens, DS was 7mo at my sister's wedding and was the star guest.
