It's polarised Mumsnet in many ways.

Everyone's so fighty this evening

LadyOfTheManor · 14/04/2011 20:15

I think feminists are all supposed to be hairy, greasy (from the lack of washing, of course) and either unmarried or homosexual (so we can tell other women how great they are).

Goblinchild - Not one Gestalt with a hive mind is precisely it. I preferred it when feminism was raised organically. Feminism, politics and dog-breeding have been removed from Mumsnet chat: all are the worse for it. Especailly the feminism topic.

I don't often wander over. But thinking about it, it's a bit weird that on a predominately female site there is a seperate forum for feminism Grin

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 14/04/2011 20:28

Look, you lot. Just stay out of Chicken Keepers, ok?

MigratingCoconuts · 14/04/2011 20:29

oh, no! back there at 20.17.31...my mistake Grin

HandDivedScallopsrgreat · 14/04/2011 20:30

Ahh but I used to be a chicken keeping feminist (well ducks and geese actually). Where do I fit in?

TandB · 14/04/2011 20:32

I think the OP may be onto something. After all, feminism is the only thing we ever disagree on. It is the only thing ruining our Utopian forum of love and harmony. If we get rid of the hairy-legged men-haters we can all live happily ever after.

Hooray for the OP!

MigratingCoconuts · 14/04/2011 20:35

either that or my comic timing has gone right off Grin
