They could save SO much money by not printing those sodding books.

I don't want them; had to get them as I ordered something online and I don't want to waste them by binning them.... (and they charged me for the pleasure of having a massive catalogue that I do not want!)

grrrr

Next clothing is great for children IMO, but i rarely see clothing i love, in that shop for myself. Boring.

Gafasipo · 13/04/2011 22:13

There a private company with plenty of decent competitors. If you don't like them, spend your money elsewhere, thats what a free market is for!

hardhatdonned · 13/04/2011 22:14

I dont see the fuss. They're crap. Why does everyone go doolally over them?

horriblemotheragain · 13/04/2011 22:15

You can ring and query the charge and they will cancel it. I entered one of their comps and the small print apparently says they will open you an account and send you a directory. I rang them and said I wasn't paying for it and they immediately cancelled the charge, no questions asked. I think they know it's a bit cheeky!

I refuse to pay for catalogues, full stop.

Next have lost so many chances of me buying stuff because of this stupid way of doing things. If everybody said they would not pay for these ridiculous things they would have to change - I have never bought one and never will!

YouaretooniceNOT · 13/04/2011 22:17

Order your Next clothing online OP? When i have ever called the order line for Next - they hardly ever got the item in stock. Used to drive me up the wall..

SolarPanel · 13/04/2011 22:19

YANBU. Ridiculously unnecessary.

Alambil · 13/04/2011 22:20

I did order online - that's why I couldn't get out of paying for the sodding books...

oh well, I'll keep them on the shelf - may come in handy for something...

Oh i haven't a credit account with Next, i just pay straight away and have never been asked to buy a Next Durectory.

nulliusxinxverbax · 13/04/2011 22:23

Next policy is a joke....

I ordered catalogue long time ago. did not order from said catalogue.

Then had letter demanding 4 quid for the pleasure. Er, no.

Then had letter threatening further action if 4 quid wasnt paid!!
I was thinking, are you serious??

Go ahead, take me to court, send bailiffs. see how far it gets you. Oddly enough, didnt order from them at all then!
