AIBU A woman on the street shut my car door !!

I live in a town centre. i parked my car outside my house and got out and left the boot and kerbside door open to load up some things from the house.
I went into my house to grab some bags to put in the car and heard my car door slam shut. I went out to see two cyclists go past, one of whom had shut my car door. Quite frankly I thought it was non of their business to shut my car door. Dam cheek, I thought. If that were me i would have just manouvered my bike carefully past the car and its open door.
There was plenty of room to walk past with a bike. . . .Seriously !
I looked at the woman and muttered "What ??" or something to which she answered, "I didnt want my bike to get scratched"
Blooming cheek! ..ggrrhh.

Paris That would be fine, if it was the first zombie thread you'd resurrected recently, but it isn't.

Perhaps in future you should check the date of the OP before posting comments to threads you just happen to be reading from the archives ...

You don't just stumble across a thread from years ago without searching for it.

But Paris, the thread would have required a search and seeing as it's not the first zombie thread you've reactivated, maybe look at the date next time you search for something and find a matching thread?

You can always start your own thread too if there is a subject you'd like to talk about. With currently active MNers as opposed to ones from years past.

Nobody is horrified. Just a bit confused about why this has been bumped.

They shouldn't be cycling on the pavement - unless it was a special cycling path.
If it was, you shouldn't have left the door open blocking it.

YABVVU and very lucky to have such a lovely, uncomplicated life that all you have to worry about is somebody shutting your car door.
