AIBU to think that if you want to have alfresco sex you should do it somewhere more discreet than next to a riverside footpath?

I hope that my preschooler having a tantrum because I wouldn't let her climb on the tree trunk opposite where they were grinding away ruined the mood.

I would have shouted "get a room" at them. Grin

haha my friend nearly peed on a couple in a thicket by a resevoir
don't know who was more embarrassed, her or them!

Bumperlicioso · 10/04/2011 16:49

Thevisitor I would have except then I would have had dd1 saying "mummy, why did you tell that lady and that man to get a room?"

Is Katie Hopkins at it again?

TheVisitor · 10/04/2011 16:51

Oh, the joys of the curious toddler. I remember it well. Grin

TeamLemon · 10/04/2011 16:52

You could have called the police. It is illegal. Grin

Bumperlicioso · 10/04/2011 17:47

I could have done, though I can't say I bore witness to the fact that her vagina was around his cock, but I'm just guessing it was from the way she was bobbing up and then giving us a coy look as we went past. IT'S TOO LATE FOR COYNESS NOW!

Yuck. I don't know why people think they're being so cool and erotic. They're just being rather grubby and narcissistic.

Bogeyface · 10/04/2011 17:56

How old were they?

If they were old enough to atleast pay for a hotel room then I would I would probably have said something. But if they were teenagers then I would probably have just ignored them and smirked to myself. Finding somewhere to go when you live at home has been a problem for generations!

lazarusb · 10/04/2011 18:44

At least all my alfresco shagging happened at night! Grin

nijinsky · 10/04/2011 19:02

There has to be a bit of a deliberate intention to be viewed involved in using such a location.

laInfanta · 10/04/2011 19:08

Eew

It's not illegal to shag outside if you take precautions to avoid being seen. I don't think boning on a public right of way counts as a proper precaution.

Bumperlicioso · 10/04/2011 19:20

They weren't teenagers. I can understand the appeal of alfresco sex, it's warm, you get all lustful but where people can see you? Would put me right off!

I still remember being on a country walk on a hot day down a tiny track there was a car rocking with steamed up windows. My mother with 3 under 6 tried to be jolly and insisted we went back the way we had come but I was intrigued as to what on earth they were doing.

theborrower · 10/04/2011 20:59

YANBU. It is an offence if you can be seen - breach of the peace.
How stupid were this couple though?

atswimtwolengths · 10/04/2011 21:33

Why is the woman in theborrower's link the only one to be photographed?

LDNmummy · 10/04/2011 23:12

I once had to make a satement to the police about a man pleasing himself alfresco. I also had to pick him out of a line up but must have been too shocked by his actions at the time of the incident to accurately remember his face and I got it wrong. I did have to explain exactly what he was doing at the time of the incident and that was wierd as it was such an official setting and I had to go into exact detail Blush
