AIBU?
to think this 'dating site' is surely just prostitution?

'Generous' members pay 'attractive' members for the opportunity of a first date. Apparently everyone has their price.

Have yet to spot an 'attractive' male or a 'generous' female.
So AIBU to think this is pretty much prostitution, or since it is just setting a price on a first date (so not sex necessarily) can it be considered to a more honest, upfront (romance-killing commercialisation) approach to men paying for the first date? (I have always paid half on dates, it's a privilege for someone to get to pay for me (!) only once I'm in a relationship, in the same way I would be happy for a friend to treat me - and vice versa - but not an acquaintance). I just don't get WHY anyone (male or female) would want to go on a date knowing they had had to pay for the pleasure of that person's company! Is there any difference between accepting a meal, to accepting the cash value of a meal (or even perhaps luncheon vouchers as the in-between option)?
