AIBU?

to think that if I haven't grown, neither should my breasts??

I am same weight as I was 3 months ago, to the pound.

I haven't gained any waist size or back size, yet have gained a FULL cup size. I now take a 38F.

I am going to have to replace ALL my bras, and once we get into Fs they get ugly and expensive. I have just paid 30 fucking quid for the only bra (plain back t) that fitted me in the shop.

I am ANGRY. Why has this happened?

They're not ugly and you can get some good offers in debenhams. I'm a 36FF/G and I've got some really pretty bras.

What a thing to be angry about! Are you showing off or are you actually annoyed?

And why? Why have they grown?

my 34a friend would KILL to randomly go up a cupsiz, why me? I didn't want any more!

No I am really pissed off!

I am short, it's going to cost a bomb to replace my bras that suddenly, for the past two weeks, don't fit, my new bra is supportive but my tits look comedic. I'm 5'1", I look like a walking pair of tits.

I'm going on a diet.

I would like to know how you find out what actual real size you are - have had two very different sets of measurements from two different shops.

I am a 30F bra size and I get lovely bras from Bravissimo.

As to why they've suddenly grown, have you started taking a new pill or anything like that?

YANBU. I haven't always had large breasts and I do not like having them now.

You're not up duffed, are you?

not pregnant are you colditz? Wink

would second the fact that debenhams do some lovely pretty bras in F/G cups for less than £20 - I think you can order online too. Freya bras are pretty too and you can usually find these on ebay for not too much ££££

Not up duffed and not contraceptive change.

I don't like buying them online as the fit varies so much - if I have some brands I need a 36, in others (triumph, for eg, I need a 42!!!) I need larger.

I just try all the bras on until I get one that makes my breasts look better, not saggy or lumpy.

Bravissimo site often says in blurb if bra is slightly more generous in sizing than normal and have helpful hints to work out your measurements. Once I hit F cup it really was better to shop on-line. However I have now reached HH cup - cup size is only measurement that changes - and even on-line options are starting to be limited.

I hoping stopping bf means first ever reduction in cup size for me - but I am worried as though my weight has gone up and down over the years my cup size has never once decreased.

And with Marks, you can order them on line - as many as you want - and if they don't fit you can return them to your local M&S.

Don't work for Marks BTW Grin Just large of nork and hate bra shopping in store because they never have my size and it makes me Sad that I they don't do my size in lots of the pretty bras.

Maybe you're near one of their stores.

I don't rate Marks for bras. They don't fit them anywhere near as well as they used to. For years they insisted I was a 38C. When I finally got measured a few years back, I was put into a 34F/32G. Now I'm in bigger sizes cos I'm fatter. Grin

Oh I never have them fit them for me. I can do that myself!

Bravissimo is your friend!

SmashingNarcissistsMirrors · 08/04/2011 15:08

you may have lost muscle and gained fat. this would make your measurements bigger but your weight would be the same on the scale.

Report

MintyMoo · 08/04/2011 16:34

Marks are awful for bras, they insisted I was a 32B when I was 14, I'd just been measured as a 32DD/E elsewhere and the Marks bras clearly didn't fit. They also measured me as a 36C at 18. I went to Bravissimo and was told I was in fact a 32G. I've never gone back to Marks. Am a 30F now.

Figleaves are good for getting slightly cheaper bras. You can also get some of the brands Bravissimo stock, like Freya and Panache from good department stores and on other online stores.

No idea why your boobs have expanded though. Mine seem to be shrinking :(

Ironically I've only just noticed you're nickname is not cold titz....yet I've been reading it as that for ages Blush

Is it TOTM or a permanent change? The only other explanation is that you have gained fat and lost muscle hence weight is the same.....

If you don't want to replace the bras then you could try to loose some weight? DH lost half stone recently as he didn't want to replace his trousers!
