I can understand if you have to cut down on sugar or have diabetes but otherwise I would leave this on the shelf.
I bought it by mistake and it is foul. It is a million times sweeter than normal jelly and leaves a strange after taste.
Never again.

Was it the ready made stuff or the stuff you make up yourself?

Sugar free raspberry jelly with some actual raspberries set inside it and done in a nice wine or cocktail glass is the dieter's summer pudding salvation...

add diet lemonade instead of water. nom nom nom. the sourness of the lemonade tones down the sweetness quite a lot. plus its got a really nice taste, kind of bubbly :o

Quick setting orange jelly made with very cold Smirnoff Ice is great - fizzy vodka jelly.

HipHopopotomus · 08/04/2011 14:18

I make jelly with unsweetened fruit juice and some gelatine! No added sugar, no sweeteneners, no sweat & it's delicious!

NestaFiesta · 08/04/2011 16:11

Hip, I don't usually add sweat to mine. Does it taste like baked beans?

manicinsomniac · 08/04/2011 16:13

Nooooo, sugar free jelly is a godsend. 10 cals a pot - genius!

HipHopopotomus · 09/04/2011 01:30

Nesta, only the jelly I make with baked bean juice Grin

BigChiefOrganiser · 09/04/2011 01:39
