Not unreasonable - suspect a few naughty florists fob people off at these times of year.

Mine aren't looking too healthy either, and they definitely weren't cheap Hmm

My flowers are still in full bloom. My son, who is studying A level biology told me i should cut the stems in water, and not expose to the air before I put them into a vase because they will last longer than if the new cut edge is exposed to air.

We all fell about laughing on Sunday and watched in great anticipation whilst he struggle to cut the stems and put them into the vase whilst both were under water.

However, I am so proud of him as the flowers are still in full bloom.
