Lovely. Would you like to swap him/her with my youngest? Grin

Goblinchild · 07/04/2011 22:34

Those are the students it's difficult to write a report for, because you are supposed to include an area for improvement and sometimes you just can't think of one. Smile
There are some all round fantastic children out there, and I'm delighted you've got one.

AtYourCervix · 07/04/2011 22:36

Hmm, I read that as a conscientious steak the size of texas and thought "My that's a really big steak" although was slightly bemused by the conscientious bit.

exoticfruits · 07/04/2011 23:13

YANBU be proud!

Morloth · 07/04/2011 23:16

If your Mum can't think you are the bees knees then who can?

My Mum still likes to tell me that she is proud of me and I am 34. Still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, cause she is my Mum.

Morloth · 07/04/2011 23:17

I just cannot get the hang of the new italics thing.

EggyAllenPoe · 07/04/2011 23:25

YANBU for so many times of doubt and angst, mothers should be allowed the honey moment.

those moments of pride where its all worthwhile - if you don't allow yourself no-one else is going to give you permission.

LadyWellian · 07/04/2011 23:29

Would have been nice if DD's school had actually managed to get us an appointment (which was a bit our fault as we hadn't sent the slip back but I did email them on Monday, and having waited until Tuesday for an email back from the office saying 'sorry, we don't deal with that any more so will pass on your request to her class teacher' ... nothing), though I doubt many of those words would have been applied, at least in part because her class teacher seems to use 'insert child's name here' on standard reports and sometimes doesn't even manage to get 'child's name' right.

... and breathe...

But Cervix YADNBU. That is fantastic and very well done to your DC.
