Ok, I'm neither a Royalist or an anti-Royalist, and kinda neutral about the whole Royal Wedding thing.
MIL bought DD (2) the Royal Wedding Happyland set from ELC, DD has quite a large Happyland collection, and she happily set about playing with it. It has a Happyland Queen, Prince Phil, William and Kate figure, a Beefeater and a horse and carriage.
I'm now in hysterics on the floor over some of the things she has done with it:
- she put Prince Phil in an enclosure of her Happyland Zoo
- the Queen was stood in the bath of her Happyland house and ordered, rather forcefully, to "Dance!"
- William was fed to her dinosaur, and declared to be "yummy"
- Kate was run over by her own carriage, then made to go to school
- the Beefeater was put in the train, which was being driven by a sheep, and is still on an endless journey to nowhere.
............. I could go on. Should I take it that my daughter is not a Royalist?
I wonder what Freud would have to say about all this.......
