to be disappointed that I will miss Wills and Kate visiting my home town next week?

Or should that be 'Am I a little bit sad'? Grin

I live in such a small town (it can barely be described as a town tbh) I can't quite believe that they are visiting it!! I have already planned to go to visit my parents for the day with the DC.

I know that even if I was here, I probably wouldn't be able to go as taking 2 under 5's into a crowded area would not be a good plan but still...I do feel like am 'missing out' on probably the most exciting thing to happen here for quite some time Wink

And by the way, I am not a particular royalist but I am very excited about the wedding Grin

yanbu. A royal visit is very exciting. Even hardened republicans get excited about these things so yanbu. Is there no way you could rearrange and attempt to take the dcs?

Why don't you get your parents to come to you - don't all old people like the royals?Smile

Lol at all old people liking the royals - don't think my parents are bothered one way or the other tbh.

My mum has suggested us going over another day but DS2 is in nursery for the other 4 days that I am on holiday next week and as I am a tightarse careful with money, I begrudge paying for a day at nursery and not using it Grin
