you can have a c-section and not breast feed and still be a dimwit though

TandB · 06/04/2011 12:22

How odd.

Am I being unreasonable to be giving no thought at all to breastfeeding. I am giving so little thought to it that I have started a thread just to confirm that I really don't think about it at all. And I certainly won't be coming back to read the thread because obviously breastfeeding has never crossed my mind.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 06/04/2011 12:22

I have fantastic tits - breastfed for 18 months.

They'll also be more likely to look nicer after 50 what with breastfeeding being protective against breast cancer reducing the chances of having surgery.

Also it's a fact that it's pregnancy what does the damage - not breastfeeding.

BumWiper · 06/04/2011 12:23

oh csection=tight fanny,apron belly

worraliberty · 06/04/2011 12:23

Oh I'm so glad you're having a C Section.

Don't forget to book the manicure and hairdresser too Grin

BaronessBomburst · 06/04/2011 12:23

YABU. And stupid/ naive/ a troll. *Delete as appropriate.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 06/04/2011 12:23

MissX - don't forget to tick the box that says "Please indicate if you need a nip and tuck" Hmm

This has to be a wind up. And if it is, it is highly insulting an disrespectful to those people who have damn good reasons for not breastfeeding or having a caesarian section.

BumWiper · 06/04/2011 12:24

i didnt breastfeed and my breasticles are awesome.

hecate · 06/04/2011 12:24

oh. You're pregnant?

Well, whether you choose to breast feed or not, your breasts will change.

That's their biological function.

They are mammary glands and they exist to feed our young. Whether you choose to do this or not, you will get stretch marks on them, they'll grow, they'll engorge, they'll flatten out and get saggy. That's what happens when you have a child.

You'll also probably get stretch marks on your belly and thighs and after the baby is born you'll have a saggy pot belly of the loose skin.

When you have the baby, either you'll have it vaginally, in which case you can expect some baggyness there and possibly a tear.

Or you'll have a cs and you'll be sliced open which will leave a big scar.

This is what happens when a woman has a baby. No big deal. Totally worth it, imo.

oh. and you'll probably poo when you deliver.

People don't tell you that.

Still worth it though.

ZacharyQuack · 06/04/2011 12:24

Well, it sounds like you've got it all sorted then.

TattyDevine · 06/04/2011 12:25

Interesting place to put your first ever post on mumsnet.

Jazmyn · 06/04/2011 12:25

If you're young and single and care so much about your breasts that you arent even considering whether it's best for the baby I'm far more concerned for the child's welfare and upbringing.

IME 99% of being a good mother involves putting the child before your own needs.

YABU.

SoupDragon · 06/04/2011 12:25

Interestingly, pregnancy fucks up yout pelvic floor too.

You really are a troll little bit thick aren't you?

BumWiper · 06/04/2011 12:25

ive also had two csections but alas my belly is not so awesome.

OracleInaCoracle · 06/04/2011 12:25

0.2 out of 10.

is it me or are trolls becoming more obvious?

deemented · 06/04/2011 12:27

Oh and don't forget the actual joys of pregnancy too.

The piles.

The varicose veins.

The varicose veins on your fanny.

The swollen feet.

FanillaFudge · 06/04/2011 12:27

How did you get pregnant if you are single and not married?

babywren · 06/04/2011 12:27

what a strange thing to write on MUMSNET of all places daft cow, my partner seems to think i have a pretty great rack as it goes,
trying for a reaction much ?

BaronessBomburst · 06/04/2011 12:28

So, young, still single and pregnant. We're trying to keep our tits, will have a c-section, and a nip and tuck to keep ourselves perfect for the right man.

Don't you think the baby might put him off more than imperfect breasts.....?

BumWiper · 06/04/2011 12:28

so to summerise you will end up a saggy, stretchmarked, sleep deprived mess who stinks of widdle, with either a scar or a bucket minge regardless of whether you use a teat or tit.

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 06/04/2011 12:29

I wonder if Miss X's baby-daddy is Stuart69

BaronessBomburst · 06/04/2011 12:29

FanillaFudge presumably she had sex? Grin

BumWiper · 06/04/2011 12:29

oh good point TS

TondelayoSchwarzkopf · 06/04/2011 12:30

"How did you get pregnant if you are single and not married?"

Oh bless Smile

hecate · 06/04/2011 12:30

oh god yes. the pelvic floor. a cs won't help you there! You'll forever smell slightly of wee.

mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha

oh, and hormones. har.

And did you know you often lose a bit of hair (head hair)

Really, it's a wonder any of us do it Grin
