I haven't watched tonight, but saw the previous program. I can understand you feeling angry. It was the lobbying of funerals that really angered me.

However - keep perspective. They are a very small group of particularly loud individuals. I doubt there is much happiness going on for any of them.

All the Americans I know, the most liberal, crunchy, Birkenstock-wearing, lovely people imaginable would happily shoot you for leaving your recycling out on the wrong day but if you mention these loons they just look embarrassed and say that the 1st amendment trumps the 2nd.

marmalade I dont think they are thick at all. On the contrary many of them are experienced lawyers and they come over as extremely articulate. Lauren in particular (one of the splitters) was extremely perceptive.
