Are they thrips? They are tiny, and tend to be swarmy.

We have them too! Angry

It's really windy today and walking along the road I got one in my eye THREE TIMES. First time I thought it was a bit of grit but I wiped it out and it wiggled. eeewwww.

Nasty little buggers. I feel itchy.

FancyALittle · 01/04/2011 16:56

Are they fungus gnats? Coming from somewhere a bit damp, a cold wall or conservatory, that sort of thing?

If so, get someone in to sort them out quick because they will double, quadruple and never EVER leave.

Ah ha Fancy, it appears I have been overwatering my pot plants! Thank you for the diagnosis, how on earth did you know that?

It's not Mayfly day already, is it? That was a bad day to have a candy floss.

cheekeymonkey · 01/04/2011 17:41

Urgh! Mayflies, my worst phobia is Daddy Long Legs, seriously I could faint when I see one! What a wus! Blush

Mine aren't fungus gnats. They're little and wiggly with sort of longish bodies. Definitely flying beasties though.

There's one on my arm now. Well there was. Grin
