i cant find your bof

i have posted 'whats for tea?' guess what im having? Grin

Nevin · 31/03/2011 16:19

Where did you post it BitOfFun? Chitchat and Trivia is probably the most popular forum, but that's where all the banal shite prevails unfortunately! Although, to be fair, there are some really interesting debates -fights- in soapbox every now and then...

VivaLeBeaver · 31/03/2011 16:19

If its the sort of site where people say ur instead of your then I don't want to be there.

Hullygully · 31/03/2011 16:20

I can't find it. Where is it? I just get big scary rides.

Nevin · 31/03/2011 16:21

Oh yeah, that's another thing that I hated Viva, all the bloody txtspk! It's rampant!

Ormirian · 31/03/2011 16:22

We're not as good as a rollercoaster? How odd. I hate rollercoasters. Are we are as good as bumper cars? Or waltzers. I went in a bloody terrifying ride last summer - because DD didn't want to go on her own. It was like little spitfires on the end of long poles that went up and down and round and round. I screamed like a banshee and embarrassed DD - she slunk off when it finished while I was being picked up and revived and offered hot sweet tea.

We have to be better than that OP. Do you find hot sweet tea helps when you've been on here?

habbibu · 31/03/2011 16:24

We are At Least as good as the carousel horses.

TragicallyHip · 31/03/2011 16:25

I found it here

Ormirian · 31/03/2011 16:26

Ooh I like carousels! Another way in which I can humiliate DD sadly.

worraliberty · 31/03/2011 16:31

cees · 31/03/2011 16:32

nickelbabyhatcher · 31/03/2011 16:34

complaining because changes have happened and they don't like it!

Hullygully · 31/03/2011 16:34

But it's so boring. Where's the fun bit?

VinegarTits · 31/03/2011 16:38

its a bit slower than MN, but they seem like a good laugh

Hullygully · 31/03/2011 16:39

where?!

TragicallyHip · 31/03/2011 16:40

No worries!

I don't they have fun..

working9while5 · 31/03/2011 16:42

Forget rollercoaster, try the Mums and Kids section of weddingsonline.ie. No swearing. Lots of passive aggressiveness. Bouncy Green Men. Huge offence taken in bf/ff "debates" that never even reach the lowest notch of MN bf/ff debate aggression - I imagine that some of the posters would spontaneously combust if they hit the breast and bottlefeeding thread/AIBU on here. Lots of poring over very reasonable contributions on quite uncontroversial topics to find evidence of grievous offence where it was as clear as the nose on someone's face that none was intended (which perhaps reflects the paranoia that passive-aggressiveness can create). Any concerns met with lots of responses about husband's cousin's sister in law's child being soooo much worse off than that and sure, don't they all be doing that when they're that age? Husbands who do sweet fuck all but whinge about the housework not being done to their satisfaction. Shy discussion of lady gardenn issues. Baby product mania. If it's a fad, you'll find it on M and K. And you'll buy it before long. I doubt there's a single new mum there who doesn't own a Slumber Bear.

Even though it's much like netmums, which I hate, I am drawn back there again and again. It makes me feel homesick Grin, though God knows why! Sometimes it's just the turn of phrase..

scottishmummy · 31/03/2011 16:59

someone whose name is about doggies shit doesnt cut it in "youse is all maaaaaad i tell ya" like being insulted by a jumper wearing poop n scoop frump

BarbieLovesKen · 31/03/2011 17:01

OP, you must be smoking something. Rollercoaster is shite. Yeah, Ill admit Im on it ages but only because I found it before here and because its Irish, its handy for the odd piece of info.

Not half as much traffic - may get a few responses a day. All airy - fairy. You post something and everyone agrees - if you dont you get lynched by all. Oh and people on there are seem quite stupid in comparison to here..

AmAlwaysRight · 31/03/2011 19:28

Racist steretyping much?
