AIBU to buy Kay Burley's new book and maybe Titanic 2 on DVD?

So.

A quick passage from Kay Burley's forthcoming debut:

"Leaning on the edge of the enormous walnut and leather inlay desk he now slowly began to unbutton her silk blouse ... Isla was mightily relieved she had always heeded her mother's guidance of wearing good underwear, though that advice had no doubt been for other reasons. He instantly turned and swept away every bit of clutter from his leather-topped desk, knocking over a Waterford Crystal water jug in his urgency, which smashed into tiny shards as it crashed to the ground."

Right. So Kay Burley is obviously, like, evil and to buy her book would be to actually give her some of the sweat from my hard working brow (mainly hard working at trying not to frown at Kay Burley, but still...) but the little snippets that I have read have made me do an actual BARK of laughter.

Titanic 2. Yes. Titanic 2 exists. It has the tagline - "They said it couldn't happen twice.." Here it is on Amazon

So, obviously, this is also really really bad, but I LOVE bad bad films and things, but - well, isn't there something a bit wrongo about this? I mean, the Titanic 1 (really?) actually sunk and that was a terrible tragedy (and I'm talking about the event as opposed to the film)

No to the Burley, but yes to Titanic: The Shit Sequel.

So, buy the Titanic 2 but leave the Burley?

Yes. You must get the Titanic shit fest and submit a review for our reading pleasure. Please include particularly dire pieces of dialogue.

This movie should have been named something like (under the storm ) instead of naming it Titanic 2, The show was disappointing and i would not recommend it to anyone. The show couldn't match up to the last Titanic that was released and by them doing what they did lost in ratings. Under the storm would have been better and had a chance of better ratings and sales

My aunt texted me on Monday and said it was on Sky. I think she lied though.

In my mind, Titanic 2 sees Leonardo DiCaprio's zombie corpse rise from the depths to have it out with that cold cow Winslet who just peeled his fingers off her door so that she could save her own arse. That's what I hope it's like.

Is Burley's book fiction or non-fiction?

Is she writing about how she landed her job because it certainly wasn't on talent alone?

no. This is almost better. A man decides to do make a massive luxury cruise liner and to call it "Titanic 2"
