Yesterday I visited my friends new house... Big 5 bed detacthed in a lovely area.
BIG house envy!

I suggested that we swapped houses but funnily enough she wasnt keen on that one!

Help me persaude her :)

Theres only 3 of them and theres 4 of us so we have more 'need'... I mean come on now! Its only fair surely! GrinGrin

Disclamer-- Before anyone flames me this is a jokey thread! and Yes I am grateful to already have a roof over my head etc etc!

Can you try and bribe her with cakes?

pingu2209 · 31/03/2011 08:32

Offer her one of your children to help her fill her house. Pick the one you least want (joke!)

kreecherlivesupstairs · 31/03/2011 08:34

Or offer to buy her some pets to fill it. Smelly pets that she won't be able to tolerate for long and then beg you to swap.

DooinMeCleanin · 31/03/2011 08:34

I agree with Pingu. The very least she could do is take one of your children, afterall she has the most space.

Personally I would offer her the one who sleeps for the least hours. She'll soon want to swap after that Wink

Oh after this mornings antics she is MORE than welcome to my 2.5 yr old DD!!

Make it two children (assuming you have a 3 bed) that makes it more even.
Or would dh be a better option? Grin

VinegarTits · 31/03/2011 11:56

steal her hubby and then persuade him to kick her out Wink

BabyDubsEverywhere · 31/03/2011 12:00

Visit her again and whilst she is out of the room remove the ends of the curtain poles and insert a handful of frozen prawns.

Over the next few weeks the stench will be unbareable, she will have cleaned everything to within an inch of its life and her house will still stink, she will also not be able to sell it on due to the smell.

Then you make her a lovely offer of a house swap as you dont have a strong sense of smell and would like to do this good turn for a good friend.

(BabyDubs evil cackle can be heard for miles Grin )

Pigleychez · 31/03/2011 12:00

She could have DH, It wouldnt make much difference as I hardly see him as it is!
He has a long commute so is gone early in the morning and home late.

Yeah we have a 3 bed semi .

Fabby- I did take yummy biscuits with me but sadly that didnt clinch the deal! :(
Maybe Borders biscuits dont cut the mustard! - Should I of taken some PomBears instead do you think?

ps, must be frozen prawns so the smell wont start for a day or two, that way you wont come up as a suspect!

Pigleychez · 31/03/2011 12:02

Babydubs- Ill keep that one in mind! :)
