to turn my DS (13yo) PS3 off to stop him playing on it?

he got up at 9.30am and he's been playing on it ever since. I went out at 11am and I've just got back. I've given him 10 mins to save the game/'take-up time'.

Opinions please and thank you in advance oh wise birds!

take it off him

use a timer in future

be prepared to remove batteries/cut plug off

YANBU.
I would've told him to come off before you left to be honest, that's still an hour and a half and he'll have the opportunity to go on it later I'm guessing. Perhaps tell him to have his breakfast before going on, or something?

Oh goodness. If you don't want him to play it then by all means turn it off, if he isn't going to listen to you!

If this is a regular thing and you want him on it less than you need to work it out with him. Tell him his limit, set some rules (my DS has to shower, get dressed, tidy his bedroom and have breakfast befor egoing on his computer at the weekend.
