Sunday eggy bread is made with cheapo thick sliced white bread ONLY.

NOT, seeded batch loaf stuff garnished with the dust from an angels wings from the poncy mac ponce bread shop. Who on earth buys poncy bread to be soaked in eggs and fried ? Who ?

Is eggy bread the same as French toast? In which case everyone knows you add vanilla and cinnamon to the eggs and then top it all off with maple syrup when done. :)

Eggy bread is savoury. If you're feeling posh add cheese and Worcester sauce for Welsh Rarebit (and a tomato if you're showing off).

French toast is sweet, usually with raisins or sultanas and is made with custard mixture rather than just eggs.

But on no account should either be made using naice bread!
