I was talking to my butcher last week about sausages and I told him that his were better than the award winners from the local farm shop due to the tough skins. he said they were synthetic that is why they are tough and yesterday I got some Sainsburys taste the difference ones and they were horrible, even the dcs would not eat them because of the synthetic skin
Why do we need synthetic skin on sausages? It is not as though they are vegetarian ones
