Ladies I have just had a horrible shock, I have been in trackie bottoms ect for a two months after a accident have just got round to trying a dress on I am going to wear for a Wedding start of May. I look like the bloody snake that swallowed a sheep on the Discovey Channel.

I am in absolute shock, have put on 24lbs discovered all DDs have put on weight also. This is what happens when control freak Mam has to take her eye of the ball and nobody has had time to 'home cook proper food' Dammnation to M and S food hall and banish all microwaves. How has it happened so quickly?

Husband and DSs are exactly the same size which is VERY unfair!

I think the secret is to weigh yourself regularly. I remember when I didn't weigh my for a while and next time I did I had put on 1 stone 5 lbs!!!! Winning a 3kg belgium chocolate egg didn't help to be fair. But I lost that weight again (still have some to loss) but how weigh myself daily so you can notice those few pounds. My friend didn't weigh herself and gained three stone!!!

atthecarwash · 25/03/2011 21:14

i weigh myself often too. When I don't I can easily put on 10lbs without knowing where they came from.
Forget about it this weekend and start eating healthy on Mon....you could drop 10lbs by May........

poochela · 25/03/2011 23:14

I feel your elastic waisted pain!! How can it be? You take your eye of the ball for what, a couple of weeks? And suddenly your arse has got its own postcode!?!?

Drop carbs and do 20mins of excercise/brisk walking a day = hello frock!!

FabbyChic · 25/03/2011 23:38

24lb? Thats almost two stone, took me five months to lose that. You could drop a stone by May but doubt 2 stone. Get yourself a new dress.

beesimo · 15/05/2011 19:53

Just to let you know I have managed it!!

All it took was hard work , discipline, effort and having my fat wrapped in foil and zapped with electric current three times a week!!!!

Wow, that is impressive! Wtf is the foil/electric current thing about?

Well done :)

PebblesAndWine · 15/05/2011 20:03

Ooh! Well done, I need to lose 2 stone by 7 July, tips please!!!!!!

beesimo · 15/05/2011 20:09

Electric thing is called Ionthermie it helps but you need to diet.

My DDs wanted to lose weight as well so we banded together to do it. Dieted by

Going back to 'home cooking' no more M and S ready meals in house.
Sorted out our portion control we can't eat as much as the menfolk because we will end up total fatty bum bums.

Well done. Ready meals really are horrible things, full of fat and salt. Must cost a fortune regularly feeding a family on them as well!!
