... a thread all of your own where you can moan at length about how BORING the whole subject is, and how deeply UNNECESSARY it is to keep discussing it.

Maybe you could have a little game. Breastfeeding cliche bingo.

Marks awarded for the following :

"wapping huge boobs out"
"breastfeeding mafia"
"breastfeeding nazis"
"formula isn't poison!"
"happy mother happy baby"
"I wasn't giving my newborn a fruit shoot ffs"
"they shot me dirty looks because I was ff"
"my children are all ff and they're all elite athletes and Cambridge scholars"
"hanging off your nipples"
"sit around breastfeeding all day"
"being pressurised and bullied into breastfeeding
"I was made to feel bad for formula feeding"

It's all yours ladies. Don't thank me. Just enjoy. And stop coming onto the other thread moaning about how wrong it is to discuss how babies are fed. Smile

OP posts:
onlion · 25/03/2011 19:24

What about "Ive done my research "

ShirleyKnot · 25/03/2011 19:25
FreudianSlippery · 25/03/2011 19:26

I am so disappointed in you OP - you forgot "I was FFed and I turned out ok..."

LadyOfTheManor · 25/03/2011 19:29

Oh and you forgot;

"artificial formula is as good as breast milk".

They don't get sick of banging that one out.

BitOfFun · 25/03/2011 19:30

Just discuss it in the relevant section- it's not difficult.

AnnieLobeseder · 25/03/2011 19:30

And it's "whipping your baps out", not "wapping huge boobs out".

Must try harder, OP Wink

Oh, how about "my FF babies are all perfectly healthy but my friend/sister/great-aunt-twice-removed's BFed baby is an allergic sickly mess"

HouseTooSmall · 25/03/2011 19:30

Yeah 'I was formular fed and I'm ok -I think- might I have been a genius if breast fed? oh dear'.

TheProvincialLady · 25/03/2011 19:32

Don't forget

"Being used as a human dummy"

HOUSE!

BitOfFun · 25/03/2011 19:33

And as far as 'gifties' go, the tone of your OP makes opening this thread akin to a suspicious package from Sharon Osbourne.

MarianneM · 25/03/2011 19:33

Militant BFers
Lentil weavers
BFing is difficult
Being tied to your baby
BFing is icky
ILs are uncomfortable with BFing

FreudianSlippery · 25/03/2011 19:35

"but it's what they're FOR!"

"my boobs are for me/DH not a baby"

pigletmania · 25/03/2011 19:38

I am with you spud what a boring topic, its been done over and over, I am so sick of it. The same views bantered about, just feed your baby whether its breast of formula, as long as it gets fed, loved, and safe who cares.

Greythorne · 25/03/2011 19:40

"i gave up bfing at 3 months because i wanted my body back"

"I had to ff because I didn't have enough milk"

"ff babies sleep through the night earlier"

"I can't leave little Pandora for a night out / coffee because I Am Breastfeeding"

BitOfFun · 25/03/2011 19:40

I don't think Spud is saying it's boring. I think she is saying that people who find it boring are boring, pigletmania.

LaWeasel · 25/03/2011 19:40

Yeah, not really a gift is it? Just another snurk at ffs getting upset.

Really charitable that.

RunAwayWife · 25/03/2011 19:41

We are mammals people mammals

MarianneM · 25/03/2011 19:41

Was going to add:

"I want my body back"

"I want my life back"

ShirleyKnot · 25/03/2011 19:43

Why this couldn't have been kept on the other thread I do not know. Oh and just so you know, this thread just makes you look like bullying arse holes.

RunAwayWife · 25/03/2011 19:45

So why are you starting a feeding thread in AIBU
Not much on TV and you thought you would start a bun fight???

LadyOfTheManor · 25/03/2011 19:45

And we all care so much.

Panzee · 25/03/2011 19:45

Ooh! Me! "I should be able to take my baby to weddings even if it says no children because I Am Breastfeeding".

Or am I just bringing myself down a level?
