...to describe cum?
(sorry!)
I happened to use that word the other day, when talking about cum (I have no idea why I was talking about the visual properties of ejaculate with my husband) and DH thought it hilarious, and claimed that he could confidentally bet that I am the only person on this estate who has ever uttered that sentence.
I personally don't know how else you would describe it, although tbh "iridescent" isn't perfect - shimmery? It is certainly not sparkly. (Although I do know someone who claimed his is glittery, but he was trying to chat someone up at the time - I have no idea why he thought she would find this attractive, but he was saying this from a stage, where he was makeuped and in very tight and low cut trousers so it was kind of appropiate)
DH reckons it is unusual to think about these things in such detail, but I reckon that at least one other mumsnetter has considered this question.
OK, so I'm rambling, but, basically, do most people just kind of get on with it, or do you think of words to describe what you see in daily life?
(Ha! Daily? I have two children and I am married - sex is but a memory...)
