Another games one, sorry - to think the Wii is over-rated?

I just don't get the attraction. On the couple of occasions I've tried it, I just feel really silly standing in my living room waving my arms around...

Just me?

Well dd1 loves it because she has been able to use it from the age of about 3, she started with bowling and now plays lots of sports and also Family Games Night. I know zilch about other computer games but I like the fact that Wii can be played by almost everyone in the family, together - so it is very sociable - and that there is lots of sports games. I am sure there are loads of shoot-em-up games too but we haven't really looked!

I feel if you have girls the Wii is better and boys PS3/x-box. Personally I really enjoy our Wii DD and I use it more in the winter after school and less in the summer.

I like it, but I don't like how unreliable the "cursor" is and how you have to be pointing your hand in a very specific position and you could lose a game through no fault of your own, etc.

But I am pretty competitive Grin

I love it! DS's love it too and are bugging me to take it to the games shop to see if it can be fixed........
