I did enjoy series one, but this series is dire. I forward through all the singing which is just tuned to hell it makes my ears hurt.
And the whole Kurt is gay stuff, big deal, dear god its 2011, there are gay men and women everywhere its nit a big deal.

Dont think i will bother to watch anymore, will stick to fringe, house and true blood

YANBU to think it's not as good but I'm still enjoying most of it.

We love the same TV shows Grin

EricNorthmansMistress · 22/03/2011 13:34

It's not as good as it was, though I loved the zombie routine last night. The christmas ep was dire

mosschops30 · 22/03/2011 13:39

Are you watching the re runs of ER and six feet under too Smile i have no life lol

This week was better. The Xmas one was awful.

And I do think that the Kurt is gay storyline is a realistic portrayal of being gay in smalltown America. My neighbour is from the Midwest and she said that all her gay friends had to move out of town, as there was so much discrimination in her hometown.

DramaInPyjamas · 22/03/2011 13:43

YANBU, not as good. I think it has run it's course tbh

lucykate · 22/03/2011 13:44

there have been a couple of good episodes this time round, duets and i did like the rocky horror one (john stamos hubba hubba Wink) but the rest are really beginning to get a bit, well just bland.

mummynoseynora · 22/03/2011 13:45

there have been a couple of crappy episodes, but last night rocked - as did the wedding one! I think kurt being gay /moving schools is fairly representative of small towns, and gives a bit more expansion to the show too :)

KarenWalker · 22/03/2011 13:45

Defo not as good. Apart from the presence of John Stamos!

complexnumber · 22/03/2011 13:54

I am enjoying Puck's crush on Lauren and next episode I think Blaine will kiss Kurt, judging by all the fuss. I was quite moved by Burt's birds and the bees talk and might steal some of his lines when I talk to my kids.

ZombiePlan · 22/03/2011 16:04

Complex, are you in the US? Because the UK's schedule for screening Glee is behind the US's - your post has loads of spoilers in (unless I've missed an episode somehow, whihc is deeply unlikely!)...

scrappydappydoo · 22/03/2011 16:11

Op you need this website : www.gleesucks.com (US site so contains spoilers!!)

manfromCUK · 22/03/2011 16:12

This season? This lifetime more like.

Honeymum · 22/03/2011 16:18

Thanks for reminding me - I forgot it was on last night

anonacfr · 22/03/2011 16:54

I've totally stopped watching.
Last season was so funny- this time round it's so self-indulgent and the singing is so awful that it's no fun anymore.
Glad I missed the Gwyneth episodes as I can't stand her! She's such a smug bitch I couldn't have sat through an hour of her anyway.

StroppyDad · 23/03/2011 11:42

It's not dire, but it's not as good as the first series. There have been some good episodes: Britney/Britney, the Rocky Horror and - pace anaonacfr - the Gwyneth episodes. But some have been so-so and the wedding one was awful.

Been downloading them so better not say any more as the UK is a few episodes behind.
